so saturday (which is now yesterday for us, ugh) we went out and got replacement mouse and new cd/dvd-rom drive that we can use with this motherboard. (the cord for the disc drive is red and the hd is blue and this amuses me, ehehe ( Read more... )

We needed a new motherboard after all, but the parents insisted they paid for it. So...I now has a shiny new motherboard+cpu. it doesn't want to recognize all three of my hds but right now i don't fucking care. i can try to fix it later or live without it ( Read more... )

My internets seem to be a bit fucked. Something with the computer, cause the 360 connects fine
*sigh* there were storms last night and when i got up stuff was screwy.

Changing the battery on the motherboard seems to have fixed the issues my computer was having. I've been able to do three things that previously caused the comp to shut itself down and have had no trouble booting it up (though I still haven't tried that much ( Read more... )

Shortly after the last post my comp died again. I've managed to get it up and running for a bit--ended up calling the father for help. He did research on teh interwebs while i was unable to do so, and things it may be a battery thing (would make sense with the turning off, too)--but not sure if it will last or not.
